Creating a website today is not as a difficult process as some think.
The technological revolution and the explosion of digital knowledge have made it easier for all those interested in creating or designing websites to conduct their business without any prior knowledge of the worlds of web development or web design and software.
It is enough for people to use appropriate and widely available tools, software, and resources and use one of our trusted digital manuals.
Here is a step-by-step guide that will help you create a website from scratch, without having to spend money on workers, agencies, or website builders.
All it takes is 1-2 hours of your free time to understand the complete guide and begin building a website.
What is the website?
The website for the visitor:
it is just an address on the Internet, which the visitor visits to obtain a service, information, or product, or he may visit it for entertainment purposes.
The website for the website owner or those in charge of it:
It is the window through which the target customers are accessed for the most important purposes of which are:
- Marketing for a product or service.
- Marketing to the content on the website.
- Financial profit.
The website for website developers and designers:
It is a group of files written in specialized programming languages, which work together for two purposes:
- Create the shape of the site (design).
- Site-specific functions (development).
There is no digital marketing without a website, as it is the first and basic component of the marketing process on the Internet.
As for the internal structure, the nature of the files used, and the method of creation, it consists of two basic elements:
- The design.
- Development or programming.
What do we mean by website design?
- The website design includes everything related to the visual image that appears to the visitor, including The size of the web pages within the site.
- The look of the home page and sub-pages, such as the article display page and the section display page.
- Font size and type in the texts used on the site.
- The colors of the site on all its pages.
- Where do the site name, logo, and social media icons appear?
- The shape and size of the website header and footer.
Why is website design important?
Site visitors’ satisfaction:
Most people by nature judge things by their outward appearance and the first look at them. Therefore, we recommend that you create an attractive and unique design for your website, that the user likes and feels comfortable in dealing with, and recommends it.
The professional design of the website helps search engines see it:
A website that is easy to design and which has good design factors is more visible to search engines.
In addition, Google monitors good visitor reviews for your site and sees them as a good indicator of improving its appearance in the first search results.
Facilitate programming and development:
If your site is well designed, organized, and has all the tools you need, programming it will be easier.
Every feature, tool, or feature on your site must start from the design.
What are the steps for designing a website?
They are three steps, in the following order:
UX Design:
Here, complete visualization of the website design must be created on paper, so that the content is neatly illustrated in its chosen places, taking into account ease of use.
UI Design:
Here the visualization is transferred from the paper to the computer using an image design program (for example, Photoshop).
The colors of the site, size, and types of fonts must be specified to be executed by the developer.
UI Develop:
At this stage, The Photoshop image is converted into files containing codes written in specialized programming languages for design work.
What are the success factors for your website design?
Relevance to the target audience:
The target audience is the most important factor to take into account when thinking about your website design.
Therefore, choose a design that suits them and matches their nature and preferences.
Uniqueness and distinction:
The design of your site must be unique and distinct for visitors to be able to distinguish it from the rest of the sites and impress in their memories.
It is okay to take some well-known sites in your field as an inspiration to you, but avoid using the same designs in the same colors, as this will leave a bad impression on visitors.
Highlight the important elements:
For example, the icons of social media sites must be in a clear place in front of the user’s eyes.
Compatible with all devices:
After the increase in the size of Internet users with the spread of smartphones, tablets, and others, it has become a compulsion (and not an option) for all website owners to create their website designs to suit all mobile devices and smart tablets.
Easy user experience:
Check the user’s knowledge of the location or section in which they are located, and make moving from page to page on your website easy, simple, and clear.
For example, the top bar of your site must contain important sections of the site and pages.
It is also preferred that you create internal paths that show the user where he is.
Simplicity (the secret of beauty):
Make sure your website is user-friendly and simple.
Make all the elements mentioned work together to achieve this goal.
Consistency:
It includes the following:
1- Fonts:
You should carefully choose the type and size of fonts on your site.
It is preferred that you choose the regular fonts that are used by most of the well-known sites, and with which the user feels familiar.
You can also use the font sizing feature to highlight the importance of texts that you think are basic and important, such as headings.
Font colors should be compatible with the colors you use on your site.
2- Colors:
They should be in harmony with each other, and limited (it is not recommended to use many colors).
You can also control the color tones to highlight important elements of your site.
3- Pictures:
In the world of e-marketing, they say: “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
Pictures are an element worth your investment carefully, as they are very useful in highlighting the design of your website and giving it a special beauty.
4- spaces:
Don’t overload your website with content, and use spaces to highlight the important things.
Blank white spaces can work for your site, giving your visitor a sense of comfort and directing them to the important parts of the page.
Website development or programming
It is everything related to the performance of the functions or features on the website, including responding to the orders of the site’s visitors or owners.
The programming is responsible for the invisible part of the website, and it is identified through the use of the site and testing its features.
And when the design options were somewhat limited in shape, colors, and spaces, The software options had no limits, as they could reach a very advanced and complex degree, Such as programming search engines and social media sites.
Examples of programming used in most websites:
- Site search feature: allows the visitor to type a keyword and search for topics that used this word on the site.
- Contact us feature: allows the user to send a message to manage the site through the Contact Us page.
- The ability to participate on social networking sites: through the icons of social networking sites (a programmatic possibility associated with programming the social networking sites themselves).
- Organizing the display of articles on the site: in terms of their belonging to a specific section, or their appearance in custom lists such as the list of the most recent articles on the site, for example.
- Displaying Google AdSense ads on the website.
Note:
Design and programming work hand-in-hand, and they’re linked together in everything.
We said, for example, that the search feature on the site is a software feature, but the design is responsible for the size, color, and location of the search box.
We also said that programming is responsible for organizing the display of articles on the site and their belonging to certain lists, but the design is responsible for the size of the width of the articles, the colors of the backgrounds, and the size of the fonts.
What are the options for creating a website?
There are four options for you to have a website, and the most suitable choice for you depends on two things:
- The nature of the site you intend to create.
- The size of the budget that you intend to spend.
Here are the four options, in order:
Use one of the free services to create a free blog:
It is the most suitable option for those who do not have a financial budget or those who want to create a personal blog to share their opinions and ideas with others.
All you need is the following:
- Choose a free blog creation site.
- Create an account on this site.
- Choose the name of the blog.
- Start creating the blog and providing it with content.

These services are most often open-source, so developers can add and modify many of their features.
One of the most famous of these systems (WordPress) is the system most used in the web world.

This option has some risk because many website builders are not competent, so you have to choose the company or person who specializes in building your website very carefully.

- Be flexible in modifying or changing some aspects of your site idea to suit the target audience.
- Ask yourself: How will I win?
- If your answer is Google AdSense, for example, you should consider those when choosing your website design.
- Ask yourself: What audience will I be targeting?
- Then create a site that goes with the nature of this audience.
- In case you decide that your site is just a source of income, do not rely on your personal inclinations and goals completely, but rather tame your idea so that it is a result of your passion and profitable at the same time.
- Free yourself from being the owner of the idea and imagine yourself a visitor to the site, and ask yourself: What is the special thing about my site to attract visitors?
- Use some keyword tools, such as Google Keyword Planner, which tells you how many people are searching for the keywords that your site will cover.
- Check magazines, newspapers, and TV channels, and try to get a glimpse of the interests of your potential audience.
- Almost; you will not have an idea of creating a website, or else you’ll find one that actually addresses it (or at least looks similar to it). Here, you can predict the size of your site’s success through competitors ’sites.
- Create a complete visualization of what your site will be like in terms of sections, tools, features, capabilities, and content. (This point is very important in the case of hiring specialists in creating websites to create your site).

Some tips that will help you carefully choose the right platform for your online store:
1- What is your need for an e-commerce platform?
The first reason that leads many to fail in their online work is that their needs are not precisely defined, and therefore you have to answer the following questions when you think about choosing an appropriate platform to start your e-commerce:
- What are the most important features that you would like to have from an e-commerce platform?
- What are the features that do not make a difference to you?
- How big are your growth goals?
- Do you have an integrated team, or will you start on your own?
- How much time do you have to learn to interact with the platform?
- Do you need support service or is this not necessary?
2- Cost:
Cost is a very important element in making business decisions, and in our case it is!
You need to be clear about the cost you are going to pay to set up the store.
Do you prefer to pay the cost one time, or do you prefer a monthly payment for a platform that offers you an integrated solution?
And what is worth mentioning, that if you choose one of the open-source e-commerce platforms, you will pay for the website hosting on a monthly basis.
3- Technical knowledge and experience:
Do you have appropriate programming experience to work with open-source platforms? Or do you want to deal with a single platform where you can find everything you want to create an online store?
Note: If you have an integrated team, and one of them is good at dealing with code, then the option of open source platforms will be appropriate.
4- Language:
When creating an online store in Arabic, for not having a good command of English, you can rely on one of the Arab platforms such as ExpandCart.
5- Time:
If there is not enough time and you want an easy-to-use platform to quickly build your online store, integrated monthly paid platforms are a great option.
However, if you have plenty of time, and you want to start, experiment, and reach solutions through research and acquired experience, then you should use open source platforms.
Conclusion:
There are many e-commerce platforms in the internet world, which differ according to how they operate and how to create an online store through them, although each of them contains hundreds and thousands of successful online stores.
Therefore, you should pay attention to the fact that the success of your online store will require you to focus twice on many other important aspects, such as:
- The competitive advantages of the products you will sell.
- The rate plan that you will follow.
- Your marketing and other efforts.
And always remember that the option that may suit you may not suit others, and the ideal choice for others may be a bad choice for you.
Therefore, we recommend that you reconsider your goals and priorities, understand what you need clearly and accurately, and put your hand on what you are good at and what you lack in experiences before starting.
You do not have to fear anything, as everything that exists in the Internet world is flexible and subject to change.
You can always move from one platform to another with ease and convenience.

First:
The benefit of multi-platform development software is that you can use the same program
whether you are on Windows or Mac as if you were logging in from your laptop or smartphone.
For example, the Microsoft Office suite of applications is available that includes:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook
And others, on operating systems:
- Windows
- Mac OS
- iOS (iPhone / iPad)
- Android
And while there are differences in how the platforms work, you’ll get a similar in-app experience across all of your devices.
Second: User Experience:
With a similar user experience, you will have a much smaller learning curve, and you will be more productive and able to use the software you know no matter what operating system you are using.
In addition; your files can be moved more easily across the common platform, and your work synchronized with different devices using the cloud.
Third: the cloud:
The cloud can include applications, networks, and servers.
Instead of owning their own data centers, companies can rent access to cloud solutions such as applications or storage.
Today’s cloud applications (as well as internal cloud computing applications) function as an infrastructure for digital business and Microsoft is the leader in the cloud-based systems market worldwide with a share of over 17%.
The cloud supports a wide range of services, such as backups, email services (Outlook, Gmail, etc.), or access to online shopping applications such as Amazon, eBay, or your e-commerce.
Fourth: Subscription services:
Today’s consumers use subscription-based services largely, such as:
Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon video, as well as online shopping subscriptions for e-commerce.
This indicates that access to technology is becoming available to all, and subscription-based services are driven by the adoption of regularly used internal cloud computing applications and cloud computing solutions such as Office 365, Gmail, and Dropbox.
Users can also access these services through a variety of devices anytime and anywhere.
Fifth: a cross-platform (digital and cultural challenge):
In a world where the mobile phone is the primary device, language has to adapt to the way users perceive and display content, particularly measurements of smartphones and tablets.
Understanding the essence of each channel and its audience on different platforms that are getting faster and more immediate puts media companies interested in keeping up with modernity and development on the path of rapid production.
Sixth and last:
One of the great advantages of using software across cloud-based platforms is access to services on any device connected to the Internet, which ensures immediate availability of services and information anytime and anywhere, and ultimately increases productivity and efficiency.
Conclusion:
Today, companies compete fiercely in the electronic job market in general (and in the accelerated software development and development market in particular), and their primary focus is always on the target audience.
For this reason, these companies need to keep pace with the explosion of knowledge and rapid development and make use of cross-platform application and software development tools as much as possible.
With the cross-platform mobile app development utilities we have provided for you, we hope that you will find a tool that can manage all of your mobile app development needs.
It is not always easy to choose the best development tool because there are so many options available in the market.

Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners
Here’s how to create a website step-by-step:
This is a briefing of the procedures for creating a site in less than an hour:
- Search for the domain name for your site.
- Sign up for web hosting (we’ll explain here about Bluehost).
- Install WordPress via the Bluehost interface.
- Choose a free WordPress theme from Bluehost onboarding.
- Get some indispensable WordPress plugins that will help your site grow.
- Start creating your own pages and blog posts.
How to create a website
The important thing to note here is that you can perform all of the steps on your own, and with the lowest costs.
Step 1: Choose WordPress as the platform for your website.
There are several website platforms that you can use when creating a new website, and they are what is commonly called content management systems (CMS).
The idea of a content management system is to give you some easy-to-use tools so that you can modify the content of your site even if you do not have any knowledge of the code.
As for the biggest part; these content management systems look a lot like the familiar interfaces on Facebook and Google Document, where you create new pages or documents, and then publish them to the web.
There are many content management systems, and choosing the best one is simple, there is only one king that ranks first, and that is WordPress.
The data shows that WordPress is used by more than 34% of all websites.
And approximately, each of the three websites you visit is built on WordPress.
Here are some basic WordPress themes:
- Open-source.
- Free.
- It is the ultimate solution for creating websites.
- Versatile and can run any type of website.
- Fast, optimized, and secure.
- Search engine friendly, which makes archiving your site easier and faster.
There is no executable task that you need to do at this point.
The first step is to familiarize yourself with just the tool you’ll use to create your site.
Step 2: Choose a name for your website, and buy a domain and host:
When learning to create a website, choosing a name is perhaps the most enjoyable aspect of the entire process.
First: There are currently nearly 2 billion websites on the Internet.
This means that being and staying among them can be a very difficult challenge.
It is a good idea to choose a name for your website (and thus your domain name) that is associated with the name of your organization with some words added to improve your branding.
Briefly; a good domain name should be:
- A unique brand unparalleled in the market.
- Easy to preserve.
- Short (so that it is easy to memorize as well).
- Easy to write.
- Includes some keywords related to what you do.
Here’s a quick tool that you can use to find out if the domain name you want is available:
If you do not have an idea about the field that you want to obtain, go directly to the following link and it will help you to choose the domain.
https://domainwheel.com/
Get started by entering an initial keyword that defines your website well.
The Domain Wheel will return with some suggestions, so you can narrow down the options from here to find your ideal domain name.
The next step, once you know the domain name you want is to register it and purchase a one-off hosting package. Here’s a breakdown of that:
A) Buying your own domain name and hosting:
Although saying “buy a hosting package” may seem intimidating at first glance, there is really nothing to worry about.
The process we provide here is very simplified, and it does not require you to have extensive technical expertise.
There are hundreds of different companies that can help you register a new domain name for you, and there are many companies that can sell you a hosting package.
But let’s not complicate things ourselves and instead get everything from one company at once.
We’ll be using Bluehost, and here’s why:
- Bluehost is a recommended web host, optimized for WordPress, and it assures you that your website will work without any obstacles.
- One of the few companies featured on the official WordPress.org site.
- It costs cheap (from $ 2.95 a month).
- Easy to use for beginners.
- Provides you with a domain name for free.
Here’s what will happen now:
- We go to Bluehost and choose a hosting plan for our website.
- We also register the domain name with Bluehost (the domain is free).
- We’re telling Bluehost to install and configure a fresh version of WordPress on the new hosting setup.
- We get our WordPress site 100% operational.
Let’s start now … How to create a website:
First, go to the Bluehost website, and once you’re on the page, click “Choose a plan”.
(Note: If you are launching a new website, we recommend that you use the “Basic” plan, as it is an adequate and cheap plan “$ 2.95 per month”).
In the next step, enter the domain name that you decided to choose for your website.
After that provide your personal information.

Before proceeding, it is a good idea to verify and confirm the hosting setup information you have chosen in the section labeled “Package information”.
Note: If you buy the hosting package for at least 12 months, you will get the lowest price.
At this point, you can click “Submit” and complete the purchase.
B) Telling Bluehost to install WordPress:
After you’ve signed up for Bluehost, and have your hosting setup ready to go, the only thing we are waiting for now is WordPress, which you can install manually by the following:
Once you have completed the registration process with Bluehost, you will receive an email from the Bluehost staff containing some details on how to log into your client profile and get started working on your site.
Once signed in, Bluehost will offer you an easy-to-use wizard that will help you in the WordPress installation process to set up your hosting.
Alternatively, you can also install WordPress by going to the “My Sites” section and clicking the “Create a site” button.
All Bluehost needs to install WordPress for you is your new site name, username, and password that you want to use when managing WordPress.
Once the processing is done, your site is installed and ready to use.
Step 3: Get familiar with the WordPress user interface
You can log into your WordPress User Panel if you go to:
Use the access credentials you set in Bluehost in the previous step.
After successfully logging in, you will see the main WordPress interface with all its content:
- Welcome message (some of the most important areas are listed in the admin panel as quick shortcut links, and these are usually your shortcuts for how to create a website).
- The current state of your site and what is happening with it.
- Posts (Here you can go to “Create Blog Posts”).
- Media (Here you can download and manage photos and other media files).
- Pages (Here you can create sub-pages).
- Comments (Here you can moderate comments).
- Appearance (Here you can change the design of your site, or customize how certain things are displayed in the current design).
- Add-ons (You can install new add-ons here).
- Users (Here you can manage user accounts that have access to the website admin panel).
- Main Settings.
At this point, you should pay attention to some basic WordPress startup settings that will improve your experience further in the future, such as:
A) Set permalinks:
Permalink defines how the individual web page addresses (URLs) are organized within your site.
The optimal structure is for the page title to be in the URL.
For example, you’re “About” page should be available in something simple like:
YOURSITE.com/about
Setting permalinks correctly will help you achieve this.
To set your own permalinks, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Permalinks from the main sidebar in the WP dashboard.
- (Diagram)
- Once there, select this setting Post name:
B) Make your site public:
To make sure Google finds and indexes your website, you should:
- Go to Settings.
- Then the option to read.
- Then uncheck the box labeled “Deactivate Search Engines”.
C) Set your website title and slogan:
This is done through the following steps:
- Settings.
- “General” setting.
- Set the website title and tagline fields as you want.
Your site title and logo may appear in different places throughout the site, and some WordPress themes display what appeared on the homepage and in the SEO description, which Google uses when listing your website in results pages.
If you do not have a site description line, you can leave it blank.
D) Allow or disable comments:
It’s up to you; whether you want to accept comments on your website or not.
Where allowing readers to leave their opinions and questions within your articles or pages can be a great way to build a social reality around your website.
But on the other hand, it forces you to deal with spam.
Whether you allow or disable the comments, you can do so with the following steps:
- Settings.
- Debate.
E) Disable pingbacks and trackbacks:
You can simply deactivate it by deselecting the setting below:
– Settings.
– Debate.
F) Select your time zone:
Correctly determining your time zone makes publishing or searching new pages and posts more predictable or searchable within that zone.
Generally, you should set the time zone based on where you are or where your target audience is.
You can set the time zone in Settings → General.
Step 4: Choose a design for your website:
The great thing about WordPress is that it works with changeable layouts (Themes).
Meaning, you can switch the way your site appears with just one click.
For example; this is what your WordPress site looks like by default, right after installation:
With just a few clicks, and by using a popular free theme (template) called Hestia, for example, we can make it look like this.
This is by following these steps:
A) Choose a template you like:
As we mentioned before; WordPress themes are external design packages that define your website’s look, you can install them quickly and you can change them in the future if you need to.
The important detail here is that the templates do not change the content of your site but only the appearance of the presentation.
There is a large selection of WordPress themes available.
Just look at the official WordPress.org directory and there are hundreds of themes.
But there are tons of free themes on the web, and there is also a whole other world of premium themes distributed through independent theme stores like ThemeIsle or aThemes, or theme marketplaces like ThemeForest.
And while there are countless paid themes for most users, free themes are a great option to start with.
The amazing thing about some of the best free themes is the number of great features that they offer for nothing.
So, how do you choose a theme that works for you?
First of all, it should be reassured that what you choose today is not necessarily a final decision, as you can always go back to it and change it within minutes.
So we’re going to go for a safe option and use one of the most popular free themes on the market today to explain how WordPress themes work.
This template is Hestia mentioned above.
Note: Hestia isn’t the only free template you can use.
B) Install your template:
If the template you choose is available in the official directory on WordPress.org, the only thing you need to install is the name of the template.
Here’s how to install it:
- Go to appearance.
- Choose “Themes” from your WordPress dashboard.
- Click “Add New”.
- And from there; enter the name of the theme you want to install (there is an illustration), and you’ll see it displayed in the list, at the bottom of the search field.
- Just click the install button below the theme you want and after seconds the theme will be installed.
To fully enable it on your site, click on the “Activate” button, which will be visible in place of the “Install” button.
Hestia is one of those themes that offer an excellent setup for new users.
To see some of these settings, you can click the “Get started with Hestia” button from the welcome message.
You will see your own Hestia main page from which you can get familiar with the theme and expand its ready-made features with some additions.
Let’s do that now by following these steps:
First, click on the “Recommended actions” link to see what is available:
Among the options suggested there, we select “Orbit Fox Companion” by default, and click the “Install and activate” button.
Note: Orbit Fox Companion is a plug-in
We’ll talk about WordPress plugins in more detail later in this guide on how to create a website.
Orbit Fox is a great addition to Hestia as it offers some great features to upgrade the look of the site.
For example; you’ll get some useful new homepage modules, a template guide that will be useful when creating your subpages (such as “About” or “Contact”), and custom menu icons.
At this point, the new look is active on your site, and you can see it in action by simply going to YOURDOMAIN.com.
Despite that; what you see there is far from the topic’s abilities.
In the meantime, we’ll take care of adapting the design, menus, and other elements to make the site look exactly how you want it to be, and here’s how:
C) Appearance customization:
Although the exterior of your chosen theme may be really cool, you need to make some basic customizations to make it suit your needs.
To start, we follow the following:
– The appearance.
Customization (you’ll see the main WordPress customizer interface).
- Here you can set a lot of things (starting with the homepage because it is the most representative of your site).
- Create your home page.
Do the following:
- In the sidebar, go to “Home Page Settings”.
- Select the “Static page” option below your homepage display setting.
- Click “Add New” to create a new page to serve as your home page.
- Enter the page name (it’s best to use “Home page”).
- Click on “Add”.
This will replace the default listing of your site’s latest articles with a fully customized homepage, and you’ll naturally see some great elements on your new home page.
For starters; we can change the main address on the page, by putting either the business name or anything else that is used as the title of the entire site.
To make changes, you can click on the pin icon next to the title.
When you do this, a Personalization panel will appear on the left
From it, you can change:
- the background image (you can make it related to your business).
- the title.
- the text below the title (it can also be removed completely)
- the text of the button that leads to your products or most important pages (you can use the following text: more on that in a minute)
Then you can configure any other available homepage sections.
Normally, you will see: (Check this list by going to “First Page Sections” of the customizer sidebar).
- The “Features” section is a great place to explain what your company has to offer or the purpose of your website.
- This “purpose” is probably the first thing to keep in mind as you learn how to create a website.
– The “About” section is a great place to talk about your story.
– The “Team” section that you can use if more people are working in your business and you want to highlight it.
The tape is another place you can mention your main invitation to work through it.
The reviews section is great when you want to show what your previous clients have said about your business.
- The “Contact” section is where you can view your contact information and let people know how best to reach you.
- There are also a few sections available that you can browse through and choose what makes sense to use in your work and in your particular case.
- When you are done editing the home page, don’t forget to click on the main “Publish” button at the top.
Set fonts and typography:
The next thing to do is take care of the typography of your site and the fonts used on it.
You can do this by following these steps:
- Go to Appearance Settings.
- Print from the sidebar of the WordPress customizer.
- Here you will be able to choose a font and see it on your site instantly.
Colors:
The new theme will use a pair of primary colors that define its default color scheme.
You can change this setting in the WordPress customizer by clicking “Colors” in the main sidebar.
The accent color is usually the color used for the buttons, links, and everything else intended to stand out from the rest of the website design.
After doing the above, you will feel that you now own your website, as you will have made all the necessary adjustments and customizations to fit your brand.
Note:
There are several settings in the WordPress customizer to try.
For example, you can try the following:
- Choose the default layout for your website (whether you want the sidebar to be on the left, right, or anywhere).
- How do you want to display the blog listing?
- Do you want a main background image for the entire website or not?
- Button shape and many other possibilities available.
Step 5: Get the plugins to extend the capabilities of your website:
- Yoast SEO: Helps you to make search engine optimization and make your site more accessible to search engines in general.
- Google Analytics for WordPress: This website integrates your website with the most popular traffic analysis solutions on the web.
- Wordfence Security: Improves the security of your WordPress site.
- UpdraftPlus: Automatically backups your website.
- Optimal: to improve your photos.
- WPForms: It allows you to add interactive contact forms to your website, which your visitors use to reach you directly (this is much better than displaying your email in plain text on your site).
Note: All of the previous components are free, and you can also look at our list of the most popular WordPress plugins ever.
Installing plugins is also simple, and if you are dealing with a free plugin, all you need is the name of the plugin, and the following:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Then Plugins.
- Then Add New.
- From there, enter the name of the plug-in you want in the search field.
- Click “Install” and “Activate”.
Sixth Step 6: Create Basic Pages:
There are certain pages that all websites should own regardless of their purpose or goal.
First: How to create a page:
- From your WordPress dashboard.
- Then Pages.
- Then Add New.
- You will see this screen:
- No. (1) A place for the page title.
- No. (2) The main content section of the page.
- No. (3) You can add photos by clicking this button.
- No. (4) For switching between text editors and visual editors.
- (Note: Use the first only if you are familiar with HTML code).
- No. (5) This is where the Home button is.
- No. (6) Discussion (Do you want to allow comments or not?).
- NO.(7) Featured Image (most WordPress themes take the premium image and display it prominently next to your page).
When you are finished editing the page content, click “Publish”.
Now here are the pages you should consider creating:
- The About page: This is where you can tell the story of your website, and why people should pay attention to it.
- This page is essential for everyone who wants to learn how to create a website.
- The “Contact” page: is where you can view some contact information along with a nice contact form through which people can reach you directly (you can get such a form via the aforementioned WPForms plugin).
- Privacy Policy Page: This page has become a very important element on the Internet today.
- You can learn more about the WordPress Privacy Policy pages here.
- Portfolio: a place to display your past work.
- Store: This is important if you want to sell anything from your site.
(To create the store you need the popular WooCommerce plugin, the best e-commerce solution for WordPress).
Once that’s done you can check out this list of 12 valuable pages that are worth having on your site.
Step 7: Think about starting a blog:
Blogging (along with “content marketing”) is one of the most effective ways to promote not only your website but also any products that you may want to sell through that website.
And preliminary data is proving that blogging is an excellent tool for internet marketing, as 55% of marketers say blogging is their top priority for internal marketing.
Running a blog is a straightforward concept.
What you do is publish articles related to the topic of your website and do it regularly.
From a technical point of view, WordPress has blogging tools built into it from scratch.
And in fact; WordPress started out as a blogging platform.
To create a new blog post, all you need to do is the following:
- moving to posts.
- The new addition from the WordPress dashboard.
The process of creating a blog is like creating a new page.
The edit panel looks almost the same (screenshot below), and the options are mostly the same as well.
One of the few differences is that you can customize your posts for categories and tags.
Once you are done working on a blog post, click “Publish.”
To make your posts more accessible, you should designate one of your pages to serve as the main blog list for posts.
To do this:
First, go to Pages, then Add New, and create a blank page called “Blog”, for example.
- After that, go to “Settings” then “Reading”, and select the newly created blog page as the “Posts Page” as follows:
At this point, you can go to that new page and see all of your recent blog posts there.
Of course, the hard part about starting a blog is writing blog posts regularly and making them attractive for people to read.
Step 8: adjust your site’s navigation:
With all of your home pages online (and maybe you started your blog too), now is the time to maintain the navigation in your site and ease your visitors’ consumption overall.
Here we will focus on two elements:
A) Listings: They are the primary means which visitors use to navigate to your site, and thus they are essential when figuring out how to create a website.
Depending on your appearance, you will have two options to choose from regarding the menu settings.
Here’s what you can usually do (in the Hestia example):
First, go to “Appearance” and then to “Menus” in your WordPress dashboard.
You will see this virtual panel:
To the left, the pages that you can choose to add all to the list.
To the right, you can see the menu structure itself and all its settings.
Let us start by selecting two master pages and adding them to the list.
A good idea is to choose “About,” “Contact,” as well as anyone or two pages you consider necessary and add them to the list.
The great thing about this entire panel is that you can drag and drop menu items to rearrange them.
When you finish; Locate the menu at the bottom.
Usually selecting the site named “Main Menu” will bring up the menu in the top section of the website.
Maybe this is what you want for your main menu.
Click “Save List” to save your settings.
Note: You can create additional lists as well.
Simply click on the “Create a new list” as shown in the screenshot above. This will show you the same Create List panel.
Each listing should be displayed in a different location.
Therefore, for this new, you can set it as “Footer List”.
When you go to your site now, you’ll see the list in its place.
B) Tools: This is an old-school feature of WordPress.
In simple terms, a tool is a small block of content that can be viewed in various places around a website.
These blocks are placed in the sidebar or the site footer.
To see what this might look like and to set your own widgets, go to Appearance and then to Widgets in your WordPress dashboard. You’ll get this screen:
Hestia offers several tools other than a sidebar or footer.
To add an element to the widget area, just grab it from the left side and drag and drop it into the widget area you chose on the right.
After you finish using the tools and navigation, your site is ready for the world to see!
There is no dispute after the above that creating a website using WordPress is the most suitable solution for your budget.
If you have reached the end of this content, you will have learned the detailed steps on how to start creating your own website and do all of the above on your own without the need of anyone else.

10 Best Web Hosting Services
10 BEST WEB HOSTING SERVICES

Top 10 hosting sites globally
First – GoDaddy:
It is the most famous in the world, and one of the oldest hosting companies, and the largest domain registration sites.
Founded in 1997, its revenues exceeded $ 2.2 billion in 2017.
As a domain registrar; there are over 58 million registered domains with the site, keeping it from the second competitor with more than 30 million.
Hosting services on GoDaddy:
What distinguishes the site are the explanations and technical support articles on it.
Their control screens can be a bit trickier than others, but their articles explain everything step-by-step.
For example: If you need to know how to change NS Records for your domain on the site, you can search for it on Google, they have a special SEO team, and you will see the result on the first page of the search.
We refer to an important point: The site does not include a technical support team for shared hosting via e-mail or electronic chat but via phone.
However, if you open the site and leave it for some time, you will see an option for instant chatting at the bottom of the page.
GoDaddy recently provided technical support services via chat, after many complaints.
The site provides a distinctive service, which is hosting with a domain for a full year for $ 12, but it is not available to everyone, and it is only through affiliate marketing links.

The facilities that E-commerce provides to its clients
The facilities that E-commerce provides to its clients

The term e-commerce refers to the operations of buying, selling, and providing services through the Internet.
As for the online store, it is the platform that allows business owners to present their products and services to a segment of customers that is wider than the one that enters the traditional markets.
E-commerce and the first birth:
Since its first appearance in the early 1990s, e-commerce has continued its rapid growth without stopping, due to its importance and the increasing demand for it.
Today, with the presence of this tremendous progress in advanced technology, and this large number of online stores, it has become an urgent need to be linked to electronic displays and spread outlets, represented by online stores that ensure their survival, continuity, and profits if they are created, managed and developed properly.
How does e-commerce achieve the satisfaction of its visitors?
With the rapid and continuous growth achieved by e-commerce, and with the increasing demand for them daily, every trade can benefit from employing this technology without there being anything to lose.
Quite the opposite, there are many benefits that business owners aspire to.
And when the work of online stores that is based on buying and selling was extended to the level of the local and global markets, and its goal was to achieve profits, save effort and enter the global competition without time or place restrictions, these stores had to have some of the characteristics that distinguish them and the services they provide.
Mentioning among them:
Online stores never close their doors:
E-commerce has become more enjoyable and easy, as online stores allow their visitors to browse the sections and preview all the products and services they offer at any time they want.
It allows them to buy what they need with just one click on their smart devices.
Today, they shop from their homes, and they lie on their couches, and they are not restricted by time, weather conditions, or specific days and times for the visit.
Online stores know exactly what you are looking for:
In traditional stores, it may be difficult to search for a specific product, especially during holidays and occasions when places get crowded.
This burden and others can be eliminated by e-commerce that provides easy access to products.
Also, the repeated visits of a single customer and the history of his buying behavior make it easier for the online store to know his usual requests and predict what might interest him and draw his attention, which facilitates the process of announcing new products and services.
Online stores offer their services and products to all customer segments:
The distance that a customer takes to reach the traditional store dictates its conditions for determining the number of customers who visit the store.
But e-commerce expands the visitor base of online stores, extending to the entire population of the country, and perhaps to other countries around the world.
It also provides you with many options, so if you want a product that does not exist at the moment, you can reserve it and order it when it is available immediately.
In addition, the quantity of goods selected through the online store is not limited to what the customer can carry.
In online stores, pay the way that suits you:
E-commerce verifies your dealings with a reliable and secure party that guarantees you that the payment process will be done directly and quickly without facing the problems of traditional dealing with banknotes that may be damaged, contaminated, forged, etc.
And many digital marketing and e-commerce sites provide payment by credit card, and this is what people who do not carry paper money prefer.
Online stores keep their customers and save their time:
With the growth and development of digital marketing and e-commerce, many tools and methods that facilitate faster access to the customer will grow and develop.
If the e-commerce stores were able to talk, what would they Say?
IF THE E-COMMERCE STORES WERE ABLE TO TALK, WHAT WOULD THEY SAY?
e-commerce has spread widely with the presence of many Arabian and international e-commerce websites.
With the multiplicity of these sites, competition increased between the owners of online stores, and in order to ensure their success, they are required to make sure that they are on the right path.
And in your attempt to top the e-commerce list, you only have to adhere to some simple steps, including:
Make sure your online store offers a perfect and memorable experience:
Many statistics intersect that a large percentage of those interested in e-commerce and online shopping leave websites as soon as they encounter some problems, such as:
- Difficulty navigating within the online store because of its large number pages or lack of organizing.
- Poor quality of the pictures displayed in the online store.
- The length of time for downloading the products of the online store.
- Broken links.
In order to ensure the success of e-commerce and customer satisfaction and turn them into permanent customers, integrated and memorable experience.
Upgrade your online store to offer you the expected profits:
Always remember that the primary reason for the success of e-commerce is to achieve convenience for customers, and to ensure that they get faster and easier access to what they need and want to buy.
- Make your store a friend to your visitors.
- Make it easy to navigate its sections using groups, filters, and filtering options with the fewest clicks and linked pages.
- Enable the auto-correct feature in search engines to help a customer with available suggestions, or advise him of other products that match what he bought.
All of these things will provide your e-commerce with excellent and abundant opportunities to increase sales and make profits.
Create your online store in a professional way:
Many surveys have unanimously agreed that e-commerce pioneers base their opinions on online stores according to the first look they cast.
It also indicated that the opinions of online store visitors about the offered products are affected by their general appearance, attractive colors, display method, description and explanation of their nature.
Collectively, this has a major impact on the customer’s decision to buy or not.
You can also visit Xcart website and learn about the professional services it provides to its customers when they decide to create their own online stores, and start making profits through e-commerce.
Your online store speaks for you!
Therefore, create it in a professional way, and make it shiny, organized and convincing in a way that guarantees the return of the customer to it.
Paying attention to online store reviews increases the percentage of sales and profits:
Permanent customers in e-commerce are often the best promoters of the online store.
You have to help them express their purchasing experience and review the products they have purchased
as this will also help you verify quality for new customers.
According to online surveys conducted by some sites, reviews increase the percentage of sales, and consumers prefer sites that display the experiences of their previous customers because they are considered more reliable than the descriptions of the manufacturers themselves.
Free advertising:
The more easy-to-use and accessible the online store is, and the more convenient its design is to attract customers
the more customers are always ready to visit it, check its updates, follow its ads and wait for its offers.
If we add to all of the above, the possibility of creating an interactive service that allows customers to leave their opinions in evaluating products, this would have ensured a close link between the online store and customers, and it would necessarily lead to free advertising for the e-commerce and increase profits
